Dr. Henson grew up in the Clear Lake area.  She did her undergraduate at the University of Texas at Austin and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M in 1998.  Since graduation she has been practicing in a five-doctor hospital in Houston. She bought Louetta Animal Hospital in Fall 2007. 
     She is an avid saltwater wade-fisherman and caught a grand-prize tagged redfish in the CCA STAR tournament in 2004.  She ran and completed the Houston Half-Marathon in 2006 to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
     She has been married for 10 years to her husband Fritz, and these are her pets in the picture, Kirby and Smokey.  Maizie her cat of 16 years passed recently and Smokey was a clinic kitty that went home with her.
